We are looking for an experienced, results-driven and collaborative leader to join our commerical team.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, Americas, the National Sales Manager - Optics will lead the charge in growing our business in OEM Optics, building the plan to drive growth in the USA across all markets including Semicon, Optics, Aero, Space and Defense.
The position would ideally be located at Zygo HQ in Middlefield, CT.
You will:
Work with the US Sales team to develop an OEM Optics growth plan across all markets, to develop budgets, and to build forecasts for operational and financial planning.
Visit new and existing customers to share our optics capability, deliver sales presentations, identify customer requirements, and develop business relationships.
Provide technical support both internally and externally for our high precision optical component fabrication and coating capabilities.
Manage pricing and discounting to balance growth and achieve profitable growth.
Partner with the Strategic Account team within key markets.
You have:
6-8 years of proven results in a senior optics sales role where you developed and negotiated large projects Ability to travel as required to support success in the role.
Experience in the electronics, semiconductor, aero, space, defense and automotive markets.
Drive to achieve stretch goals and results.
Due to the nature of Zygo's programs and products, applicants must have the legal right to work in the US and additionally must be legally authorized to access export-controlled information and source code.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
